Life coaching is future focused. A life coach is someone who helps the client get clear on would make their life more fulfilling, and works with the client on how to close the gap between where they are now and where they want to be. A life coach helps their clients develop empowered thought processes and behaviors that are conducive to achieving optimal results and lessening one’s fearful, anxious or negative-biased mindset. Sessions include topics such as goal setting and achievement, focus on improvement and growth, commitment to excellence and accountability, and positive self-talk.
A Next Up Life Coach doesn’t just give advice - we actively engage with you to provide personalized step-by-step support systems that enable you to make tangible progress towards defining and accomplishing your ambitions. We can help you unlock new potentials you never knew existed within yourself!
Individual Life Coaching sessions are available online. Life Coaching is a 10-session series of 60 minute sessions. Email support between sessions is offered at no extra cost.
1. The first step is a Discovery Call. During this 15 minute Zoom call, you will get to know Alexandra and ask any questions you have about the program. She will ask you about what inspired you to see a coach and where you would like to be once coaching is complete. No need to prepare anything- it's a fun and easy chat!
2. After deciding to work together, the client will sign a waiver and book their first session. Clients are welcome to have a consistent day/time, or book their sessions one at a time (as performers' schedules often change). It is recommended to book your sessions for either weekly or bi-weekly.
3. In the first session, Alex will ask you to have prepared a list of your top 3-5 goals for your coaching time together. She will provide some ideas- so don't worry if you aren't sure! This is important because she will design your sessions around your goals! Each client has a bespoke set of sessions- it is not a one-size fits all program!
4. Each session will come with some fillable homework sheets (pertaining to that week's topic) so the client learns how to build new habits and integrate their learnings into their life. The homework will be shared at the next session (unless the client would prefer not to).
5. In the last session, we will re-visit the client's goals (from the first session) and create a toolbox for each goal. So, let's say one of the goals was "to build authentic confidence". We will insert all of the exercises/discussions/tools for confidence building in the toolbox. Now, the client has tools for life!
